The story
Cecelia Margules is a composer, lyricist, and writer devoted to Jewish music and art.
After graduating with a degree in music science, she spent several years assisting with collections for prominent secular singers before turning her focus to original composition for the Jewish music world. Today she writes for a range of celebrated musicians, giving voice to stories of faith, memory, and hope.
A frequent lecturer at conferences and music awards, Cecelia is also authoring a book on the psychology of music, exploring how melody and meaning move us.
Above all, she is a devoted champion of Jewish creativity and art, helping bring new Jewish music and stories to audiences around the world.
